Hello, just signed up, I hope someone out there can help me, I figure there are lots of knowledgeable people out there. I have a Fender Super Six Reverb amplifier in amazingly good condition, but I have no product documentation, no owner's manual, nothing. Does anyone know if another Fender amp of the period (early to mid 70s I am told...) would be the same as this one for the electronics? It has six Fender 10 inch speakers and the thing will ROAR, it will take the roof off, I bought it a year or two ago and will be selling it soon, it is too much amp for me. Also, anyone know off the top of their head what the output is? I have been told 100+ watts. Thanks for any help you all can provide.

Contacting Fender would probably be your best bet.

just want to drool in envy over this amp. I used ot have a Silvertone w 6 -10" Jensens (yeah, like that White Stripes guy has used)... What a great sound that many 10" speakers have. Those Jensens I had deliver plenty of punch and have a great Rock sound to them.

So... do you love your Super Six? I''ve been thinking of ditching my Marshall stack w 12" Celestions for the Super Six, but I don't play out that much...

Here's a site with some info about the Super Six. http://www.ampwares.com/ffg/super_six_reverb_sf.html The Super Six Reverb is the same amp as the Vibrosonic Reverb, Dual Showman Reverb, Twin Reverb, or the Quad Reverb, only with different speakers.

Well, I lucked out. I have had a canned search on eBay for a User's Manual for a long time, never got a positive hit. This weekend I did, the OM is good for several models, just as was alluded to in an earlier post. I have also bought a few new knobs to replace a couple that are cracked, and I have found a source for a new Reverb Tank cover. Anyone want to give me their opinion on how much I could reasonably ask for the amp? I plan to sell it and just stay with my little Ampex 620 fed by a Behringer MIC-100 line pre-amp, it is so cool and so retro! Thanks, Guys.

You had better hang onto that super six, they are becoming a very rare amp and the price tag on them are going to go through the ceiling over the next few years. I've owned several of them over the years and they are one of the best amps Fender has ever made. I sold one last year to a man in Connecticut who had been searching for one for several years, it was the worst mistake I've made. The only problem with them is that they are so heavy and they stand 41 1/2 inches tall so they are top heavy and you have to be careful not to turn them over.
