Hello, my twin reverb's reverb has stopped working recently and I'm hoping someone here can help me fix it.

I swapped the vibrato tubes and the reverb tubes and that didn't make a difference so it's not tubes.

When I turn the reverb pot up you hear the hum

With the tank connected if shook you hear the springs, i swapped the input wires for the output and you could still hear the springs so it's not the wires.

Had a look at the input socket on the tank itself (RCA style) and that looks fine.

Does anyone have any idea what might be the cause of it not working? It's worked fine for several months of me having the amp and now has just gone.

Thanks a lot

Harry

What happens when you plug in a footswitch?

What about the 12AT7 reverb driver tube?

For a test: return the tubes to their original positions. Remove V1 (12AX7) and replace in the V3(old 12AT7) socket. V1 socket can be left empty. If the reverb, now,has some guitar signal getting through, the 12AT7 would need replacement. If you're getting a splash through the amp, but no guitar signal. Then I'd suspect V4 (12AX7). HTH, Art
