I have a 1958 Fender Twin Amp. It is original with Jensen speakers.
Model 5F8-A Serial No: A00685. Who can I talk to about this rare and valuable amp?
Is anybody able to help please?
Lee.

What is it that you need to discuss?

Hi Arjay,
Is it still valuable and sought after? Any idea of it's value?
Kind regards,
Lee.

Yes, and yes.

Minty ones command upwards of eight grand on the secondary market.

Player-grade beaters can go for about half that.

Pics of the chassis, cab interior, and speakers (as well as overall exterior shots) will be most helpful in determining the amp's pedigree and condition.

To post a photo. Go to Photobucket. Or some online site to post media. Upload your photos to this site.

For Photobucket:

1.) Click onto photo you wish to post. See "Links to Share The Photo" on the right side?

2.) Now, scroll your mouse (the computer's mouse  ) over the IMG address window.

3.) Left click onto address window.

4.) It will say: "Copied"

5.) Now, paste the copied IMG address into the window of this Forum.

6.) So... this:

{URL=http://s1191.photobucket.com/user/BMW2002Ti/media/PorscheprototypeSilverstone-preview_zpsc3547246.jpg.html}{IMG}http://i1191.photobucket.com/albums/z461/BMW2002Ti/PorscheprototypeSilverstone-preview_zpsc3547246.jpg{/IMG}{/URL}

7.) Becomes this:

When the { } that I placed into address line is kept as the original [ ]:

The amp is worthless. In fact, it cannot be thrown away. It needs to be disposed of properly by a professional. Since I'm such a nice guy, ship it to me and I will take care of it for you (this way you don't have to deal with the paperwork involved).
