Hi out there.
I´m a guy from germany and need some help with a fender 75. I found this amp during cleaning up the cellar of our practice room. Nobody missed it so i took it home. I searched in the web and found out, that the original Fender 75 was sold with a 15" speaker. This doesn´t match to my one. It´s got two 10" (I guess) as you can see in the picture. Than the size of the cabinet doesn´t match to the original too. Was there any other model available? Or does the former owner put it to a smaller cab to get the amp a little bit less heavy? The amp ist working good an all knops do their job fine.

I dont know if i keep the amp because i can´t use it for the kind of music i play. Does anyone have an idea, what price this amp is worth?

Thanks for your help!

Kind Regards.
Tom

Sounds like a previous owner built a custom speaker baffle and installed his own speaker array. Here's some additional data for the amp......

Based on the shape of that cabinet I'd wager that was originally the 1x12 model but as Arjay said, the previous owner fit 2 10's in there.

The 75 is a good amp - rivals the modern Hot Rod series in terms of tone and versatility. Except the 75 is all hand wired. It has pretty much the best sounding Reveb I've heard in any Fender amp. It was Fender's answer to the Mesa Boogie. They were produced from 1980-1982. Regardless of what you read, Paul Rivera had nothing to do with this amp's design. It was one of the last that Ed Jahns did for Fender.

As far as value is concerned, they're routinely going for $400-$600 depending on condition.

Hi Guys.
Thanks for your Information. It´s good to hear, that the cabinet itself could be the original 12" cab. The built in speakers sound nice, but i never heard s. th. about the manufacturer imq. I will think a few days about what i will do with the amp.

Thanks so far and keep on rocking
