Very very Nice. Congratulations.

What is the little black plug in the Tremolo Pedal foot switch connector jack on the rear panel?

That's a shorting plug -- required to activate the tremolo circuit in the absence of a footswitch.

Very nice. Watch for anxiety levels on Friday. Sounds like a new Strat is complimenting this amp. Don't forget pic's of that.

The OP has a lot invested in both the amp and the forthcoming guitar -- I'd say any angst would be more than justified.

I'm the same way when waiting on delivery of another vintage Fender amp purchase.

Yes, absolutely :D .

Both sounds really well; the amps is definitely awesome, I tried it with all my guitars and with all of them I had a great result.

Excellent find on a Pre-CBS Blackface !

You're now gonna know what True Love means !!

Here's my '67 Blackface Deluxe (one of the Last 400 Blackface Amps to be produced - EVER):

Image

Cosmetically it is 9.5/10 (nicotine stained Grillcloth), but I did a total rebuild this past winter and internally, it is 100% up to spec !!

Great Luck with yours !!! :D :D

cheers!

Thank you! Great amp yours too!

Mine is near mint too, I had a big luck to find it; I met some friends to try a Strat and I saw this amp, never played before but as soon as I did I was definitely astonished. :D

Tia, what is that object on the lower left, backside, of your amp?

Thanks!

It's a power transformer, in Us voltage is 120 V while in Italy 230 V.

I suspected as much but it was hard to tell from the angle.

Lightnin MN,

Your amp looks amazing.
I bet it sounds even better than it looks.

Don't underestimate yourself. Sometimes a new amp/guitar is all it takes to pull out what's been lurking in the "B-Cells" all along.

Is it Saturday yet!
