I purchased the amp from a woman who had inherited it from her grandfather. I ended up purchasing a 1954 Gibson ES-125 from her as well and they were both in excellent shape. She said her grandfather hardly ever took the things out to play.

Wow! that's awesome! I have a CS 57' Deluxe reissue and love it, bet your original sounds incredible, just a heads up, a seller on ebay sells high quality replacement handles, made just like the originals by Amish craftsmen, I put one on my reissue, here is a pic of mine.Image

Hey thanks for the info on the handle. I've been looking for a nice quality replacement so I'll definitely check it out. Yours looks great too man!! How much was the handle if you don't mind me asking???

Here's a pic of that vintage ES-125 Beemer! Didn't come with the original case and the tuners were changed but the guitar is cherry.
