Arjay, for sure. If this were my amp, I retrofit it back to right out-of-factory, OEM standards. With appropriate PT, if necessary. Hammond makes very good drop-in 220/230VAC 50Hz PTs' for Fender amps. Going back to original rear face plate and restoring some of the original switches and fuse holder will definitely enhance resale value.

Be interesting to see what other mods may have been done to the circuit. I'd try to get a photo of the circuitry, before further pursuing purchase.

You're right. That is my purpose, to make it completely stock except for 230v.

Got a couple of more pictures now. Instead of uploading them one by one I made an album, here is the link.

I looked up the transformer codes and the dates are correct, however according to this link the OT should have the number 125P5D or 022798, but as you can see my has the number 022806 and I couldn't find any other reference. Is this the export transformer or has it been changed by Hagström?

Cheers!

The correct power transformer for an export model Super Reverb is 125P5DX.

The 022806 transformer while seemingly carrying a Fender P/N correlates to nothing that I've found, and in any case was made by Schumacher-Woodward in the 40th week of 1966......a year before the amp was built.

According to BMW2002Ti in this thread, the tranny is the correct, maybe he has some input. :)

The OEM part for the Export PT in your Pro Reverb is:

Schumacher part number 125P5DX.

Fender part number 022806.

Seem that "022806" is the export model PT for a Super Reverb (125P5DX). The Fender part number is hard to make out on most SR schematics (handwritten in). But, is clearer on the Pro Reverb (which uses the same export PT).

Johan,

The amp shows signs that the bypass caps, a few coupling caps, and maybe the bias supply cap were replaced. The chassis seems to carry a 17th week of 1967 date. And the bias supply wiring looks like a BF style bias pot. And not the later SF balance pot wiring.

By the dates on the iron, this looks like a 1967 made Super Reverb. The bias supply goes to two 220k-ohm grid-to-ground resistors (like the AB763 circuit) and the phase inverter anode plates are loaded by 100k/82k-ohm resistors (also AB763). These resistors appear to be the OEM A-B CC type.

The MV wiring looks like a simple step to revert to stock. The other wiring seems to be original cloth-covered, push-back variety. Now, looking at wires coming out of the PT holes, they seem original Schumacher. The colored coding reminds me of several export model or switchable voltage model amps that I've worked on, of this era.

May not be hard to revert this amp back to original form. At least, circuit wise.

Thanks a lot for clearing that out!

Thanks alot for all help and support, it has been really helpful! I'm so excited!

I was looking a bit for a new original backplate and found one on eBay from the same seller Arjay mentioned earlier, 107$ including shipping to Sweden.

Johan...Were you able to get the amp? How are you liking it if you did? Post a couple pics as you take it back to factory export specs! We love a good refurb post, especially on a Super Reverb!
