This is probly a question for Arjay...but please, anyone chime in.
I am looking at a 6x10 supposed vintage SUNN bass cab and it has 4 of the following speakers.

Seller claims they are early low serial speakers. I had read the thread with all the speaker info and these SUNN magna's were mentioned but I wanted to know for sure if these were the good ones.

What sayest thou?

They are probably adequate for the task.

What are the remaining two speakers?

Well, with four 8's you can wire it for 2 ohms or 8 ohms for the time being. Keep your eye out for another pair of speakers to replace those which have gone AWOL.

IIRC the original configuration for this cab was a series-parallel arrangement that yielded approximately 5.33 ohms -- perfectly acceptable for most Fender amps that require a 4-ohm load. Stand back though......this cab will be loud.

Do you have the grill frame for it?

Thx Arjay....yes here is the grill very filthy.
I'm wondering if this cab could have been coupled with a 200s originally.
I'm sure it could handle a 300T with a full complement of drivers.

Your cab was likely a companion piece to Sunn's Concert Bass Amp. The 200S enclosure was designed around a pair of 15-inch JBL D140F's. The Concert Bass head produced 150 watts and the cabinet was rated for 200. As for its survivability when used with a 300T, frankly I'm not that optimistic.

If your grill cloth is not otherwise ripped, torn, or frazzled with snags, try cleaning it with spray Windex and a soft, clean rag. Repeat as necessary then rinse with clean, warm water applied in the same manner.
