i have a early 70's deluxe reverb amplifier. im trying to figure out the year it was made. I know it was in the 70's based on the tubes. It still has the original rca tubes as far as the rectifier and 6v6gta tubes. for some reason i cant get the pics i took of it to upload. i think the serial number is A 33851. the csa sticker number is LR16304. Not sure if thats helpful or not. I'll figure out how to get the pics posted somehow and put them up.

Your serial number translates to 1971.

No problem.

The EIA codes stamped on various components (trannies, pots, electrolytic caps, speaker, etc) may help you narrow that "birthday" window down significantly if that's an imperative.

It's not imperative. I just wanted a year. I was judging it between 71 and 74. I have to replace the tubes in it. It comes on for 10 minutes then shuts off.

It could be tube-related but if the amp has never been serviced, you should expect a more complex (and more costly) repair issue.
