Hello there!
We have been cleaning out the workshop and found this in the corner and can not remember what kind of amp this chassis belonged to! Any leads? The only stamp I see is the "32 Amp Slo-Blo" above the "Fuse" on the back of the chassis. There is also a number stamped on top of the transformer. Any clues would help and thanks!

Can't say with any degree of certainty but that smaller transformer (output?) was made by Woodward-Schumacher in the 12th week of (perhaps) 1956. The chassis does not resemble any Fender that I'm familiar with but others here may have more insight.

I don't know but what about a organ amp ?

By the way fuse can't be a 32 amp , this is twice your wall outlet maximum current ( 15 amps ) . Look to me a 3.2 amps

The 32-amp Slo-Blow is so slow, your house burns down before the fuse pops.

The amp looks like a 1950-60's era PA amp. All the components are place on terminal strips. So high-fidelity, noisefree, awesome tones is NOT the goal. These amps were used for cheap, annoying announcements like "Attention K-Mart shoppers, Blue Light Special Aisle 5."

Maybe worth salvaging some parts and the chassis.

The Chassis happens to be sitting on a box that says Explosives, so not looking too good for the house either way.

As the owner of a 195* Bogen Challenger CHA-33 PA, I can tell you they can sound great for guitar. Bought one cheap last year with original RCA tubes; hooked up to a Tremolux cab it sounds great.

For under $275, it was a steal for the NOS tubes alone.
