Looks like a good deal, but what speakers are inside?!

I went after work and took a quick look at it. Looks just like the pics. Grille cloth looks like it's seen a lot of smoke filled gigs, tolex has some knicks here and there, but overall good shape.
He said he had the head and 2 cabinets, and sold the head and 1 cabinet, but the guy that bought it didn't want both cabinets.

He hooked it up to a PA so I could here it, but didn't run a guitar thru it, just some mp3s, and it sounded fine. He said the speakers were original, but I know that could mean a few different kinds. He said he would take the back off if I wanted him to, but I told him I didn't have that much time. It's my birthday today and have family plans.
I told him I would think about it maybe call him tomorrow. He lives like 10 minutes from my work, but might be sold by tomorrow, who knows.

Sun City West where he lives is a retirement community so he was an older gentleman who said he's been a Fender guy since way back. He even had a Fender license plate frame on his car.

OEM speakers for a '64 Bandmaster cabinet would be the Oxford 12M6 (likely) or the Jensen C12N (a remote possibility). Oxford's will be marked "465-XXX" on a paper tag affixed to the basket while the Jensen's would be ink-stamped with "220XXX" on the mounting flange.

That is a very good deal, it is all original and in good shape especially with original speakers, if they are Jensens it is a really good deal.

Since it is your Birthday, what better present could one get?

Go for it!

Yeah that's what I think, but my wife thinks a few items I bought about 2 weeks ago was an early present to myself.
