Been a while since I've visited this forum! But I got an old MIJ Fender Sidekick Reverb 65 transistor amp that has some problems and I really don't know anything about repairing amps. Big problem there haha!

Input 1 doesn't give sound at all and the second input seems to work correct, but on the second channel only the reverb on/off button works. I have to switch between channels manually by turning down the volume on and turn the volume up in the second channel. This isn't right I guess...
Also the reverb sounds very weak. I like to play some surf rock and when the reverb is on 10 it just sounds soft, weak and not like a spring reverb should sound when it's fully on!

Do these problems sounds familiar to some of you and is it easy to fix? I was thinking about replacing the reverb since those aren't that expensive. The reverb in this amp is a SR01542CE - 5Y0001. What will be a good reverb to replace this tank?

Hope someone can help me and thanks in advance!

Schematic here , second post ;

http://music-electronics-forum.com/t33010/

1- Input jack broken or solder broken ?

2- Reverb on/off switch broken or dirty ?

Is it easy to fix this amp ? No unless you have a good electronic skill and know how .

You have to look if input jack is broken ( 1 ) and reverb switch (2 )

Thanks for the schematics!

After reading as much as I could find about this amp, I figured out the second input is for 'combining' the first and second channel and that's why only the reverb works on the footswitch.

Tomorrow i'm gonna look inside the amp to see if there's something broken and also gonna have a look at the reverb tank. Hope I can fix it myself haha!
