The schematics drawn by Fender during this era have to be some of the most cryptic to read. They don't separate the PSU from the output from the bias supply from the gain stages --- which was clearly done on earlier schematics.

For the 5mfd/25VDC cap I use the Sprague ATOM 8mfd/150VDC cap. It fits fine. And works a bit better that a 25mfd in that position.
