That's quite possible, Barry. Indeed, likely.

The ad guys demanded something to put in the forthcoming catalog regardless of whether the designers had worked out all the engineering kinks so they mocked up a static prototype and tossed them a bone. Then when it became apparent that the amp was never to be due to technical and production issues, the photos were shelved. But not before at least one shot was released for use among industry insiders.
