A co-worker has has mentioned he may be interested in parting with this amp. It looks like it has been in storage for many years. It is in a bit rougher shape than I anticipated. He said it needs tubes and knobs. I am not sure of the model, but he says its the Jeff Beck endorsed model. He says it has had some previous wiring work done on it.
Any idea what this might be worth?

looks like a U1511 head. I had one that was sold off around 20 years ago. Bad decision! Great great head. And the cab was great too.

Thanks Waya. The guy told me he wanted to get at least
What he paid for it, which was $400 in the 70's. he started talking about
Jeff Beck and it being rare, so I don't know if he wants more.
I'd like to take it for a spin, but I don't think that will be happening.
The amp is also a 2.5 hour drive away.
What do you think, if he wants $400 for it? Good deal?

I'd ask to see the guts first, then offer him $350.

I do remember Jeff Beck using them.

Here's an ad.

I remember when Beck was with BBA in the 70's he was the poster boy for them.
I had a Univox EC80 Echo in the early 70's, I really liked that thing.

I liked him a whole lot better back then.

With Carmen Appice and Tim Bogart, it was the closest thing to a revival of the three-piece "supergroup" paradigm that the '70s would ever produce.
