Not sure why you'd want to do it (except that some philosophers feel more twang = more better), but came across this modification somewhere online not long ago that apparently calls for adding a wire and deleting a capacitor to magically make reverb/trem available on normal channel as well as reverb channel, c'est vrai? Anyone familiar w/ or tried this? Just curious.

I performed this mod back in the mid '70s on an early non-MV silverface TR I once owned. It worked well enough and was easy enough to do. Basically, it's the "Fritz mod" that many folks today prefer for their DRRI's.

Thanks for the reply Arjay, I guessed few mods had passed your grasp. What does "non-MV" mean? I searched but came up non-useful results.

Non-MV......"Non Master Volume".

You'll see that term referenced frequently when the topic is vintage silverface Fenders. Also "non-MV, non-PP" which refers to the later silverfaces that featured the push/pull boost MV control. The former appeared during the mid/late 1971 model year while the latter showed up a year or two later.
