Hi all,

just a quick update on the amps status (after a few months  ).
Its on the bench of a well known tech as we speak.

The amp will get a new PT (240V  ) and will be checked thoroughly (the reverb should sound a bit better imo, a bit of clicking/pulsing in tremolo circuit, and most importantly the bias supply issue).

I should get the beast back in about 10 days.

Wish me luck!

Cheers

Nikola, I sure it'll be fine. Well worth it. Some after "shots" would be nice. Pretty please. :D

Absolutely, plus I'm contemplating a set of new speakers to replace the original Oxfords (maybe Vet 30's, ET's 65, G12c/s or something like that ..).

Stay tuned

Nikola,

That is one very EARLY two-piece opto-coupler. Haven't seen the wafer type in a long, long, long time. Boy, the old PT is a very inviting piece of .... of iron.

Gonna sell it?

BMW2002Ti,

So is the amp

As for the PT I would rather keep it as an original feature to the amp, ... (don't know exactly why ) .. (otherwise it would be all yours) :D

Nikola, that is one massive PT! Love those Svetlana's. Only have a few of those dimpled top, St Pete's tubes left in my stock.

Thanks, for the updated photo.
