The other day I came upon this old Fender PA cabinet. It was named the "Sound Column" back in the 60s and had a 4x8 layout that was vertical. Four 8 Ohm speakers run in series for a total of 32 Ohms. The best part is I was given it for FREE! Yes, the magic word. It makes your food taste better and mediocre speaker cabs sound better too. I have heard it is popular to plug guitar speakers in these. I think I am going to hook it up to my 1969 SS1000 for a strange combo. Maybe some Jensen Mods or something. What is your opinion?

I think you should read the enclosure's data panel again -- it's four 32-ohm speakers wired in parallel, for a total system impedance of eight ohms. The cabinet dates to the early '70s.
