Nikola Tesla,

Yes, a re-winder can either mod your PT or build another one to meet your needs. However, it's going to be expensive. Can't you get a Hammond or Mercury Magnetic PT to replace the OEM one? Keep the OEM one, if you decide to sell the amp.

They state its for:
Fender® Pro Reverb (Blackface and Silverface with 45W)

As far as I know BF Pro is 40W, not 45W?!?

Actually, the 6L6GC can be biased to 30 watts each per tube (in Class AB1, push-pull). Realistically, 36-45 watt range, for the pair, is prolly ok. Or 60-75% of max rated output.

Edit: 18-22.5 watts per tube

I have had conversation about the PT 230 V with the guy that runs www.fenderguru.com.
Very nice guy! Says he always goes for the Mercury option, as it is, in hes opinion the best by far.

Looks good :) Got the same problem as you here in Norway. Gotta get them juiced up to 230 V :) Bought one Deluxe Reverb early silverface off fenderguru.com guy, and it came with the brand new mercury, fantastic so far!
