I've bought stuff from shopgoodwill.com. You have to be careful reviewing the items. It can be a real pig in a poke. :lol: Luckily, I've done well. My last Goodwill auction win was a 1956 Silvertone 1333 amp - all original. Only problem was that a mouse had gotten into the chassis and chewed one wire. And one tube needed replaced. Nothing says class like fake tweed and gator. :lol:

I knew someone who once drove a 375-mile round trip to view a "beautiful white Fender Twin Amp" at an estate sale. Expecting a blonde 6G8, the amp turned out to be a silverface '77 boat anchor that the late owner had taken a rattlecan of white Krylon to (to include the grill cloth).
