Strings, all are nice amps, for sure. If I had to have only one amp --- I think the Super Reverb is hard to beat.

That is one beautiful amp! and with that 15" JBL too. Looks like it just came off the showroom floor. :)

Are there any EIA codes stamped on those CTS speakers, "Arnold"?

I'll bet the day that a Super Reverb comes with 15 inch JBL's ol Arjay will snap one up! He seems to have a very healthy "Love" for them :!:

He doesn't need to wait for that day. If he wanted a Super Reverb with 15 inch JBL's, he would just build one

The Vibroverb shares its chassis dimensions with the Super Reverb. It differs electronically only in its tone stack (similar in many respects to the AA165 Pro Reverb) and its smaller, and hence lighter, 125A7A output tranny. The VV's cab is only four inches shorter than the SR's and a D130F tips the scales at just about what a tetrad of CTS or Jensen ten's weigh. Thus, these amps are pretty close as far as the "oomph" factor goes.
