Had a Marshall Haze (it was crap!) bought a Blues Jr. and sold it for a 79 SFDR - sold that and bought an Allen Sweet Spot (Princeton Reverb clone) still have it and it is a keeper. Also bought a Allen Encore head (Vibrolux Reverb clone) added a 2 x 10 cabinet.....I love it, its a keeper.

Whats next? Any thoughts from the Fender amplifier gurus?

Using a Fender MIM Strat and a PRS SE semi-hollowbody

Have you given any thought to a '64 Vibroverb?

Or maybe a Blackface or Early Silver Face Super Reverb? You already seem to like 10 inch speakers...

I've had good luck buying old Fender amps that have been modded-ruined-and sold for pennies on the dollar. Some have original caps. All have original iron-a must. After restored to original, they're worth a lot more than used boutique amps. I've never heard an amp that sounds better than an old Fender. Vibrolux Reverbs are the s*#t. Let's not forget Roy and his telecater thru a Vibrolux pointed backward.

Looks like the original 64 Vibroverbs are a rare, and somewhat pricey...are the reissues any good?

Yes -- for a contemporary amp, the '64 Vibroverb re-issue was one of Fender's better efforts, albeit somewhat pricey. It benefits from a few minor tweaks and a speaker change may be in order (depending upon the player's druthers) but in the main, it's pretty close to the prototype in the sonic vibe it delivers.

Even the RI Vibroverb is getting pricey, they're selling for $2k+ on ebay... last year they were around $1500-1800.
