All original (tubes, transformers, speaker, everything).... Going to be changing the speaker to a Weber as this one is a bit farty on the bass. But what a great sound! Very, very nice. Will go great with my '68 SR and '55 5E3.

Serial is A820091. No codes on the speakers. Transformer dates to the 31st week of '78.

It got a deoxit and cleanup job today, hence the chassis pics. And the baby transformer (sorry, my amp knowledge is next to nothing!) had to be tightened up as it was falling down on the power tube (as seen in pic as the chassis front and back and speaker pics were pre-cleaning. Front facing photo was after cleaning).

Remember......four-ohm speaker impedance for these single-ended Fenders (if the original OT is used).

Good deal. Thsoe are Mallory sealed bypass caps (white). They are usually good-to-go. But, sometimes replacing them with new Sprague ATOM 25mfd/50VDC improves the bass response. If you want a bigger sound outta that amp with an 8-inch speaker --- I like the Weber 8F150.

Good pickup! If you want to try another speaker that is superior to the Weber (IMHO) try a Kendrick Black Frame, they cost a bit more. I have one in my 68 Champ and it retained all the good things about these amps, but had much better bass response. It still has the nice highs (without being piercing) and nice thick mid range.

Which ever way you go enjoy cranking that puppy!

Thanks! I definitely love it, I just want the bass tamed a bit.
