Thinking of buying a DeLuxe vintage and import it to Australia.

Looks like the B/F ('63-'67) is double the price then S/F ('68-'82).

Can you recommend any other web sites in the US to look for one, thanks.

The best thing to do it is to test drive these amps BEFORE buying .

OK, most of the time you can't.

Black face are mostly the best sounding amp , NOT ALWAYS. And it is not a good deal this amp .

The silverface WITH master volume are not the best silverface amp . SF WITHOUT master volume are way better most of the time .
Best is test drive this amp too or take a chance.

if you know a good tech to fine tune the Silverface , this amp will be better than many new amps you can buy for the same price.

Test drive would be impossible because of distance, so I'll have to pull the trigger.

Looks like DR S/F boost pull switch was added in 1977, but Fender returned to B/F in 1980 (for 2 years). How's boost pull switch affecting amps performance (sound quality wise) ..? .. similar to master volume on later models?!?

Another option is Vibrolux Reverb .. seems like very nice amp too.

What advertising web-sites in US are good to look for an amp, thanks?

Look at guitar center on line in the vintage amp section.
