Forumers,

will check out over next couple of days these two local Princetons currently on CL.

Pnr = recent caps and tech inspection, Weber 10in, $1600
PR = recent caps, tech insp, Weber 10in, $1K

Most important for me will be tone, main use jazz rhythm guitar, some surf. Pnr lack of reverb not a big deal because I really like my Wampler rev pedal.
Would like to hear from Forum folks about questions to ask, things to look for, and maybe some forumers already lean toward one of these amps for some reason(s).

thanks in advance, Craig H

Prolly depends on which one is in better shape. Outside and inside. For a grand --- I'd go for the 1964 Princeton (non-verb). All other things being equal.

Esp if you have a good Delay Pedal. But, that's just me...

Good luck either way.

:D

+1!

$1600 would buy a pretty nice early '70s silverface Princeton Reverb or even a Deluxe Reverb.
