I have a Dual Showman amp "head" that I bought used in 1993. It has a snakeskin covering that looks to be factoy, but I've been told that Fender didn't put snakeskin coverings on amps from the factory. Can it be original, or is it more likely not? Also, I would like to "date" it. The serial # is 1076534. I didn't see any letters on the tube sticker. Do you have any suggestions?

I have a white snakeskin Dual Showman head and 4 12 cabinet. Fender offered these in several colors a wide range of amps in the late eighties and early 90s.
