Thought I'd bring some closure to this thread.

Picked up my Showman Amp from BMW2002Ti (Steve) yesterday.

All I can say is WOW :shock:

He practically re-built the whole amplifier. Everything inside looks very neat, orderly, shiny, and nice. The amp sounds GREAT and I guess I forgot how much power it has. I put the volume on 3 and almost shook the windows in my house. Glad the wife wasn't home :D

Glad it work out. Those mil spec resistors, Russian metal clad PIO, and Jupiter caps will take a bit to break in. As well as the UF5408 diodes in the rectifier.

Briefly went over that Dynacord "EchoCord" echoplex schemo. We'll need to start at measuring voltages and comparing them to the schemo....
