Pretty clean under the hood. The filter-cap can looks original and you should seriously consider replacing it as a prophylactic measure. Adding a bias pot is a pretty common mod to many of the silverface editions -- mercifully, no holes were drilled to support the installation (thus it's reversible if you choose).

The grill cloth has been replaced, and badly I might add (it's wrong-side out). A Saturday afternoon with a stapler and a six-pack will straighten that out.

What's the speaker look like and how does it sound?

Heres a couple of shots of the speaker, the amp is loud. The guy said that the tubes were replace recently and a cap or something like that.

Looks like the OEM ceramic Oxford that came with the amp.

To sweeten things up, you might try a vintage Jensen C10R or C10Q. Old Fenders really sing when they meet that Chicago-made mojo.

Rawk on!

knotanother1,

Definitely keep the bias pot. You'll need it when you put some real tubes in there.

Just kidding shimmilou!

A little Windex sprayed onto that grill cloth will prolly remove most if not all of the stain on your drip-edge Princeton. Remove the speaker first then gently wipe the Windex off with a soft clean rag. Repeat as necessary and it'll likely look like brand new when you finish.

That little stain at the bottom of that great looking drip-edge Princeton reminds me of one of my dog's reaction to my guitar skills.
