OK.Major brain fart.

I was in Jr High School at this time and I don't remember The Association playing with a "wall of power" behind them. Anybody recognize these amps? They have a look of "modern" (for the time) Solid State.

The amp logo seems to read as "Johnson", doubtless some obscure brand that has long since passed into oblivion.

The EB-2TDC bass is noteworthy though.

That's what I thought they said. But I never heard of them. I know I couldn't have missed ALL of the sixties.

It may be Jordan Amps, which was a solid state amp company out of Pasadena. One of my co-workers bands, Gross National Product, was sponsored by Jordan back in the late 60's - he may know if the logo changed from the script logo shown here...

Could very well be, Ned.

And it makes sense since the Association hailed from SoCal during the same time-frame. My first fuzzbox was a Jordan Bosstone, bought new in late '66 -- the type that plugged straight into the guitar.

BTW, that's the worst lip-synching I've ever seen. And that bass player is totally clueless......like their real one took sick and they got a warm-body replacement from Central Casting.

Arjay - too funny. The same player is on a quest to get an original Boss Tone, which he had back in the day. So far on eBay I bought for him a Boss Boost (blue label) as well as a Jordan Creator pedal, which is one of the more interesting fuzz pedals I've ever had the pleasure of playing. It does single note leads and chords well. Looks more like a wah pedal. $600 and my friend was very happy with it. He also bought a smaller Jordan a few months back, complete with the original shipping box. AC cord is still coiled up as it was in the box...

My original Bosstone ran around $35 IIRC.

I traded it in on a Vox Tone Bender the next year.
