Just want to thank T2, for the Weber Vintage Alnico recommendation. Did the R&R in a Bassman 2X10 combo. One vintage ceramic and(now) one vintage alnico. Although I only have 4 hours on the alnico, I found that I can really open up the tone stack. The bass channel is Alessando PIO's, and the normal is Victoria poly caps. They're all .02's. So The amp is very balanced and guitar friendly. That alnico speaker really allows more treble application, without any high end annoying type of accentuation. It's almost like a frequency trim pot. But what do I know? Hey, the sound is good!!!! Thanks Again!!! Art

Glad this worked out for you Art!

I as well just got 2 Weber 10A125s (30 watt) for my Tremolux cab. Driven by my Princeton Reverb, the sound is amazing - no pedals needed. Great speakers!

I've got those same speakers in my Bassman 410. I absolutely love them! I've got a pair on order to replace the speakers in my 210 CVR (one 10A125 and one 10F150).

Art...You Sir are Welcome. Weber has some great speakers and if you can't find some vintage speakers they really are some of the best speakers for the money. And I like the idea of mixing alnico and ceramic in one amp.

T2

Yeah, I was leery about it at first, but the results are fantastic! The 10A125 and 10F150 are made for each other!

Yeah, gettin' on to about 20 hours on the new speaker. it's a 10A-150-H(hemp-cone), the other guy is a 10F-150-1. Figured if the speaker destructs, I can always smoke the remains!!! Anyway, the alnico decided to open up tonight( this ain't facebook, no pic ). So it has some high end to it, perfect!!! They're both light dope. Seems to be a neat combination! Art

Yeah Doc , haven't hit 88 hrs yet. But the Alnico has started to plane on the sonic sea!!! The ceramic has plenty of hrs and they're working really well, together. Thought folks had told me that Alnicos were mellower sounding then the ceramics. But it seems to me, to be a different soundscape and very balanced. When we hit 88hrs, I'll brace for the Sonic Warp!!! Art

Arjay,

That look more like a typical reaction to Ted Nugent tuning-up his stack of Twins.
