Does anyone know what kind of cab this is, and if it's any good? It's made in 68.

+1 on all counts.

Dimensions for these:

Tremolux -- 17.5" x 28" x 11.5"
Bassman/Bandmaster -- 21" x 32" x 11.5"
Showman -- 24" x 36" x 11.5"

However, I suspect something wonky here. The cab as shown does not have the treaded anchor bushings on top to attach the amp head to, which all of the above listed models had. Could be that someone sawed a "big-box" Bassman/Bandmaster enclosure (29.5" x 39.5" x 11.5") in half to create a more managable package for loading/unloading and transport.

Agree with Arjay - also this cab is far deeper than 11.5", and there's no piggyback bushings on the top. Guessing it's a bigger cabinet that's been cut down.

Hopefully the OP will return with some quantifiable data and perhaps more photographs (especially of the cab's interior). Details of the tilt-back legs may also yield additional clues of the enclosure's pedigree. I'll be starting a new custom-sized extension cab project myself early next year.

I have some other photos but no more information. Found this cab on marktplaats, the dutch version of ebay. The guy who sells it doesn't respond to my e-mails.

Fender Tremolux cabinet with 2 x 10 speaker array.

No doubt about it.

+1 Retroverbial,

I don't know why CollapsingNewPeople don't give speaker size with picture. But you are right.

It may be that he does not know this information as a fact. He did mention that the seller had not yet responded to further inquiries.

Seeing the amp stand with no rubber cap digging into the hardwood floor has me climbing the wall.

Obviously I've been married to long.

Cheers,

Must be an optical illusion as the cab in the pic looks a lot deeper than 11.5".

Keep in mind, that cab is only 17.5" tall.
