what brand of tubes do you guys suggets?
one of the original RCA's is going bad in my
73, i hear opinions about JJ's not being voiced
for Fenders, how about Winged C's ?

Winged C's are good tubes...but I would recommend TAD's if you are going to use new tubes. Of course you could always go with some NOS RCA's and keep it as close to original as possible.

Just to be sure, when you say "the 6L6GC are going bad" --- you mean they are getting weak or won't hold a bias? If it's bad tones you are hearing it could be other issues,

NOS RCA are geting more $$$. Are they worth it? In the long run, I think so. Sylvania fat bottle 7581A or GE 6L6GC or 7581A are also very good tubes .

I had a fuse blow the other day during a gig, I used my super for backup, replaced the fuse and it been working but it looks like one of the tubes is going out....hoping thats all it is. would love to back with RCA ....geeeez thay are high......ive heard good things about winged c

Svetlana (St Petersburg made, winged-C: =C=) had a golden age = 1990-2005. They are no longer being made. So, really are NOS.

Try to get them from a seller that tests them, in amp-like conditions (plate voltages and idle current). Later 2005+ production have more QA issues than the earlier ones.
