I didn't like the basic sound of the new Custom Vibrolux at all. Sounded like a SuperSonic. No warmth or fullness. Are the vintage ones completely different?

Actually, it sounds pretty good. Listen to the YouTube video. However, tone means nothing if you damage your amp. Based on all the admonitions, I'm definitely not pulling speakers.

Leave it alone, it ain't a Super Reverb if ain't 4X10! :wink:

The Vibrolux Reverb mentioned has nothing to do with the Custom... BF or SF, both great amps!

My BF VR is a sweet amp and not as loud as the SR. But I still prefer the sound of the SR, best amp Fender made IMO.
