This feature is colloquially known as "drip-edge" molding.

I've got the same trim on my super. It's a 1968 SF. This amp sounds great!

Maybe it is and maybe it isn't.

The drip-edge silverface Super Reverbs first appeared in the early summer of 1967 -- I bought one brand new in August of that year (my first new Fender amp). The drip-edge molding continued through 1968 and partway into 1969 with slightly different grill cloth colors and was finally deleted in March or early April of that year.

You'll need to examine the EIA codes on your amp's trannies and other components (if they're original to the amp) to determine that it's a '68. Likely, there will be a build date as well, ink-stamped inside the chassis just adjacent to the power transformer and bias-supply board. Super Reverbs built prior to May of '68 will be the AB763 circuit revison.
