What is very low voltage? What is the idle bias on the 6V6GT's? You maybe drawing too much current. Thus, dropping the plate voltage too much.

I'll try to post a pic of the amp BMW2002ti. I'm going to post some online. Good news, I was able to get the bias voltage restored. It had a bad solder connection between the diode and capacitor in that circuit. Unfortunately I still have very low voltage when I plug in the output tubes. I don't understand, because theses are brand new tubes -- the whole set. Again, the voltages seem okay without the output tubes.

Thanks again.

Wich voltage is low with tubes in ? Bias ?

If yes ; some other bad solder in bias circuit to tube , Solder with high resistor

I have an older fender Princeton reverb amp B1270 that was left to me when my uncle died. It has been in my closet for 5 years I know. I play some guitar but very seldom use an amp. I have a fender g dec 30 that I use when I hook up. I know my uncle bought the amp new . It has not been used in so many years that I'm afraid to plug it in. I do know it has the original tubes in it and I figure it would blow them when turned on. Does any one know if and what this amp might be worth? Also where could I take it to have it checked out by a professional. I am getting my info from the schematic that I found tucked in the back of the amp in an envelope marked "your amplifier instructions manual guarantee a d schematic diagram the cosmetics looks very good

Where do you live ? Somebody can know a good tech in your area.

If the amp was working 5 years ago and nothing look broken like tube's glass. Plug it. Be sure the fuse is the right value first.

Silverface Princeton Reverbs remain in demand as the prices for blackfaces continue to skyrocket. Likely, you could plug that amp in and play it as is without issue. That said, it's prolly time for a qualified tech to check it out and determined if any components are due for routine replacement. Find a tech in your area who's familiar with vintage Fender amps and lay out the sitrep just as you've described here.

Best of luck, HTH

If you gave us a general geographic location, someone on the forum might be able to point you to a good vintage tech. Or, maybe I should say, a good tech that knows vintage gear. 8)
