I think this is the schematic; I think your amp model is 2165 not 210 65 ,are you sure ?

http://www.webphix.com/schematic%20heav ... 100-rd.pdf

Look the 2nd schematic

Not easy to work this amp not like all tube amp. you can only check your foot switch m foot switch connections to amp.

The schematic Stratele52 linked is for the RD/RP series (note that there's only one channel -- just a pair of input jacks).

Here's the correct schematic: https://docs.google.com/viewer?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.music-man.com%2Ftechinfo_old%2Fold_amps%2F2100-65.pdf (two channels and two pairs of input jacks)

Note that my link has two sets of schematics, one for the earlier version with the tube phase invertor and another for the later version with a solid-state PI.

I would think that if the trem works sometimes that it has to be a bad solder joint or a broken trace on the PCB that makes intermitent contact. Or maybe the footswitch cable -- when you unplug it to check it with a meter you may be holding it in a position where the broken strands make contact.

Hmmm. I can't find the trem or the reverb circuits on the one I linked (my link may be to the bass model  ). But there's no trem on the one you linked either -- that shows the RD's switchable cascading gain boost.

After an hour of Googling I can't find any schematic that includes the MusicMan trem circuit (several for the later versions that had a phaser rather than trem, but that won't help).

No wonder people hate working on them (along with the 723 plate voltage and near class-B biasing).

At this point I'm so frustrated that if the amp is healthy in other respects I'd just get a good trem pedal.

strayedstrater thanks for your time I am thinking a boss tremolo might be the simplest and most likely the cheapest way.
Again thanks all
