Well its my turn. Heres a couple of pics. Sounds OK but not happy with the speaker. GC told me it was all original but its not. I have a CTS to put in it so Im not to concerned.

TBAZZ...SWEET. Grill cloth is looking good too! Are we going to get some "After" pics once you clean it up?

And by ALL MEANS go with the CTS Alnico...especially in a '64 Princeton! You will be digging the tone of that little "Porch Weasel" :!: :!: :!:

Congrats.

Tomorrow I plan on taking it all apart and clean it up change the speaker and play the heck out of it. I started messin with it but I just got back from a job in Ohio and am alittle tired. But I did play it some and it does sound ok dimed but the speaker kinda gives out alittle when you attack the strings hard like I like to do.

TBAZZ...when you bring home a 64 Princeton you get a big pass on an accidental double post  ...especially when you are taking it for it's first real good "Test Drive" and posting pics for us :!:

Looks good tbazz! You know I have a vibrochamp and sometimes plug it into a 12" extension cab. Then I can dime it and throttle the guitar and the higher wattage speaker holds up a little better, though I like the sound of the 8" speaker barely holding on too.

I'm waiting for my 4 knob 64 Princeton porch weasle to come in the mail. It's a different circuit, but looks like it has the same OT as yours. Might want a clearer photo of the speaker and the codes on it for folks to say what it is.

TBAZZ what's the lettering on the rim of the speaker?

By the way the insides look untouched and original as can be.

It kind of looks like a seventies CTS ceramic, but don't remember them being painted black, they were usually silver. Yeah break out a magnifying glass old man and let us know what the numbers are and they should help ID that bad boy. We'll cut you some slack as having to do a job in Ohio would wear out anyone

Eminence (67) made in thee 19 week of 78 (7819), model number is the A10-RH.

By the way I have a great old friend who is from Cleveland, and I always give him crap about it being the armpit of the nation, with it's only redeeming value being the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame :!: :!:

That what I also think of Cleveland and they don,t deserve the RRHOF. Thanks for the speaker info but its gotta go. That CTS will do nicely. It has 2 Ruby 12AX7 i,ve never had those before. Any experience with Ruby tubes
