I could have purchased a load of tubes about that size localy from an old electronics supply house.

Problem was when the guy printed the inventory you could see the guitar guys had wiped out all of the goodies over the years, not even a single 12AX7 or 6V6Gt.

But who knows what's in there.

A few years back I responded to a similar C/L ad. I was the second guy to root through the inventory and the first was apparently a guitarist as well. But he didn't know much......he left all of the 6CA7's, EL34's, 5881's, 6550's, 7027A's, 7025's, and 5751's. Mullard, Tung-Sol, Amperex, GE, Raytheon, Telefunken, you name it. I gave $60 for roughly 150 NOS tubes, all in their original shipping boxes. I made all of my money back on the first pair of 7027A's I flipped.

I know, I keep thinking about it, it's on Long Island suffolk, probably 2 hour drive for me. I bet it's worth it though, damn.

I've had other excellent finds, but even the guys out in Arizona turned this guy down after reading the inventory.

The AES boys didn't miss a thing, don't think I did either.
