NFGPD * New Family Group Photo Day #5

Image

OK. There it is! Eleven of my "smaller" amps.
I've a 1960s Blonde Fender Tank I cannot locate somewhere in storageville.

Out of interest towards several Fender forum friends and others, and interest
towards past comments made over a period of time for my showing of pictures,
to prove manhood and honesty and non-trickery and chicanery avoidance
and from being bamboozled and deceived, etc.
I truly hope this is the end of it.

Most of the eleven amp heads had been shown earlier within this forum.
I've at least twelve more combo amps at this time. I've no desire to parade
them as these eleven. I've shown many within this forum, earlier as well.

A major point I do find of interest is: "Do these pictures make a difference?"
Did they "float your boat". Do they make me a better person or guitarist or forum member?
What is it about "having to be proven something" that drives distrust?

Mostly, it's interesting to see a "group" mentality at work.

Following below are random comments and quotes.
Most are interesting to me.
Some are negative.
Some are truly positive and inspirational. But ALL MADE A DIFFERENCE TO ME.

Again, do pictures really make a difference?
Showing ten(+) guitars :?: Showing twelve(+) combo amps :?:
Showing 200(+) speakers :?: Showing custom speaker cabs :?:
Posting photos of perfromances :?: Posting YouTube clips :?:
This is a forum of words & pictures, but it is a forum to be allowed
to express oneself as I wish, when I wish.

Does showing pictures do the job for you?

Again, below are comments from before I posted the photos.
Things have fairly well calmed down the past month. Thank you.
A commitment has been made to be less reactive towards negative comments.
Think about it. Maybe a few of you will think about it as well. We are humans.
This is an open forum. Most of us have posted comments that should be erased or deleted.
Making negative comments on a forum from behind a hidden keyboard
and monitor is for self-gain. I recognize that. Trying to get laughs from others.

Read the below comments and remember how things were and see how
they have and will continue to change. We were all involved.

This month makes it one year since I joined any forum.
I started off with some pretty rare equipment and eager to learn about it.
ALL of my minimal bit of Fender amp & guitar knowledge has come within less than a year.
Cannot wait to see results in 2013 by looking back at these forum threads.

Many wonderful things have come into my life since August 2011.
Also, learning to deal with written assaults was new to me.
Certainly, I did not handle some very well at all. I do apologize for them.
Lately, brushing them off is easier than I thought it would be.
Wish I learned to do that earlier this year.

My family sees a better person. I'm different.
Never been part of a "good old boy" group, and it shows.
Good or bad, just is and just my nature. Glad to have discovered that about myself.
I'll be different towards responding. Hope some others will more appreciate it as well.
I'd like to hear (read comments) from anybody within this thread. Thank you. Toppscore :)

Why do I get the feeling you don't own any of the amps you listed?

Howard, why? Wonder why, Howard, keep wondering.
Howard, why do I wonder why you are here?
Maybe you'll find out, "why". Why, howard, why?

Pretty good score keeping, Bluesky! I AM very impressed :!: :P
You can take out the words "claims to own." and replace with "owns."
The 1962 Super Amp has been sold  . . . wishing it was not gone with what I know today.
There are several "1960s" missing from your inventory.
But, thanks for the reminder

Why are you all wasting time with this person?
I'm in this audience of folks who want to see the goods so post up a picture of all your amps kid. You have been called out on this one several times and the lack of pictures is showing us that you are a BS artist. Of course you can erase this fact with one all inclusive shot of all your amps. But I'm sure you can't do it and that's probably why you haven't even posted a reply with a picture of ALL YOUR OWN AMPS in your own thread. After all is said and done though I think it's time to use the ignore button since I really do have better things to do than pay any more attention to this socially inept person. Please tell me where the ignore button is again. Thanks.

Newspaper doesn't prove a thing. You need to be in the photo holding a sign with a sworn statement that it is not Photoshopped.

You can forget about those photos, Tony. That's because they're aren't any. Neither is there any gear. What we seem to have here is an auto-fellating poseur with above average typing skills. I need to call my buddy Skip Simmons...... Arjay

Hey what did I do I just want to see your amps. I don,t really care if you like me or not. I'll still let you know when your acting like a butt head and I'll agree with you when you not. You tend to do some pretty good attacking when someone doesn't agree with you. And the long winded posts aren't needed.

Tbazzone. Probably nothing you've done. This thread has the whole picture.
Anyway, I am tired of the group stuff. I do expect it from one person, and I said
I am done with it, tired of it.

I know you want to see my amps. I've shown pictures taken of amps & guitars
within my home as well as others from my Craigslist/Ebay/Internet sales.
I do not have time to do the family photo thing at this time. Much higher priorities.
Maybe some day. Butt head I might have been. Honestly, I cannot recall starting
anything. But, I do initiate some very interesting threads and I and others enjoyed
the discussions. Just some disagree and come in and ruin the thread. You won't
catch me ruining anything. And those disagreements can be relentless with
bad comments, and not from me. Count me out.

I am in a different zone, anyway. Just want to clean up any misunderstanding
regarding yesterday's adios comment. Love is too short to have the anger
I was ready to release. Best to move on. Toppscore.

Hey, I'm the last to curtail a person's freedom of expession!!!! So my name came up, as a trouble-maker? Friends or not, we tend to get along wiih each other. Discussions are pretty straight forward, and when we drift off subject, Shimmy will get us back on topic! Can't see the the need of extra governance! "What's so Funny about Peace, Love, and Understanding" Hey bro, try it in the key of "A" Art

No, you are not a trouble maker. Just part of the shuckin' & jivin' group and as I wrote,
light hearted at best. It's only one person with the anger that I need to re-direct my
energies and not go to down to that level . . . . reactively tempting as it might be.
Gotta improve myself. Key of "A" is my favorite. Peace Love & Tuned Guitars

Aclempoppi, personally, I have always thought your were cool.
I understand that when I stood up to some comments, you took sides.
No big deal. Life goes on. I have a big heart, but I need to improve
to be better. So, patience is high on my list. This hobby has nothing
to get overly angry about. I will definitely change
Hey! Yesterday, I just purchase a 1964 Fender Twin Reverb! Yeah! :D

It's the message that counts.
You think this place is gruff? You should talk to old time techs, in person. Esp old Ham techs. They know their poop and sure don't take any poop.

aclempoppi wrote:
Well said, Beemer!!! I too was lucky enough to have had the influence of older Radio and TV repair guys, when starting out with amps. Talk about no poop, these guys would dive into an amp with the soldering iron, without discharging the caps or even unplugging the amp. When I asked them about that, they said "just don't touch that stuff unless you want a shock, dummy!" And one of these guys, actually built radio transmitting stations! Art

Nice collection, Topp !!! Looks like more than I'd want to have to maintain. But playing is another story! Just a note: Anger and Prejudice are not happening with me. My camp is in the wide open, no boundaries!!! If that's OK? But fair respect for fellow humans is a constant!!! Art..... OK sorry-Philosophy major!

Topp, I guess you don't consider private messages private. Posting a PM is one way to be a butt head without starting something.

My mistake. I thought what I wrote was a PM. It was not. Sorry Topp.

Thanks, Ark. Just a journey.
Hope you enjoyed the family "Amp Head" photos.
Believe it or not . . . . . that is a bundle of work and lots of pictures to take
as focus, the kids moving around and messing with their faces

Yesterday, the 1960 Fender 6G4/6G8-Twin/6G4A Super Amp
arrived back from Skip Simmons restoration. Will have to do a before/after
photo comparison shoot for that one. Take care. Toppscore :)
