I have a 1970 Fender twin reverb.

+1!

Last year for the solid pine-plank cabs, with finger-joined corners and screw-in baffle boards.

Which speakers......Oxfords, Utahs, or JBLs?

Ever given some thought to swapping them out?

I've only had the amp for about a month, and I'm going to take it to my tech guy today for a check-up. As far as swapping speakers I have no idea what to put it and very little cash to spend. I'm pretty happy with the sound now so a speaker change won't be imminent by any means.

In that case, there's no need to "fix what ain't broke".

Rawk on!
