Any of you redoing a tweed 6L6 or, say, DIYing a tweed Bassman, this is one great tube. Short and stocky. It does fit into OEM tweeds. Great tone and long-life. Bias like a 5881, 6L6GA or GB.

Art, the 5932 should "see" about what Fender put onto those early woodie & tweed 6L6GA and 5881 amps. Around 400 - 425 VDC plate volts. Not he 450-475 VDC seen by 6L6GC. Idle wattage dissipation ~16 watts per channel.

Just about perfect for a 5E4 or a 5E5.

See this is what alot of the young guys don't get...those tubes are a thing of beauty, Industrial Art if you will. That picture could easily be hanging in a art museum.

I see those and think of by gone days where things like this were built to last and did.
