Not Fender, but you get the idea. Check out what happens when one little radial lead cap is not set to proper angle on a circuit board. See the culprit about midway down the page.

To try and help prevent such disasters, I have a couple of prints made from that GREAT 400PS site --- taped to my tool box. Just to illustrate what can happen if you don't know what you are doing. Or don't double/triple check your work before flipping the switch. :(

Lineup includes two GE made 6550A's in the middle. And the TS 6550 on right. Two on left are the lower rated Sylvanoa made 6550.
