I can't believe the reverb and tremolo on this amp.
Is that part of the circuit different from my Bandmaster ?
One of the deepest reverbs I've ever heard ! sounds like I'm using delay.

I'll pull the chassis in the next few days and take some gut shots for you guys.
Pretty sure I'm gonna find some big orange Caps under the chassis in need of replacement, not that it makes any noise, it does not !

I'm on my way to pick up a 1990's DRRI I just found cheap on Craigs list so I won't be playing much, it's 40 minutes away one way and then i go back on call.

You need to convert that DRRI to silverface cosmetics.

It tested off the charts !

Wierd build, kinda crude look'n

Your not gonna believe this but I'm heading out to pick up another amp.
I'm thinking the economy has hit critical mass here in Northern Indiana, folks are giving it away !!!

This one is a Hot Rod Deluxe , Ya I know cheap, but the price is amazingly right !!!

OMG...Arjay committing Fender Heresy! Convert a Blackface amp to Silverface? WTF? The ONLY reason to do that is so it matches the rest of his herd, but other than that, heresy I tell you

BB...by the way congrats on the DRRI and Hot Rod...they say things come in threes...so this might be your last one for a bit

It's not a bonafide blackface -- it's a re-issue.

Such a conversion is permissable under the "rogic of retroverbial".

Well I guess if you can come up with a reason like that for such conversions...it isn't quite heresy then

I could not agree more Arjay !!!

I had to be the one to go through it trying to find a tone worth listening to
Well lets just say I had to throw a few pedals in front of it to get any where.
The route 66 and some "real overdrive" helped.

Compared to the backline and the four times removed cousin next to it, it's Poo

For a young kid to get started in tube amps well it's still poo but its afordable poo

A Super Reverb should not only be on every persons bucket list of amps...but they should also be life long pals! Enjoy that puppy!

There is something special about 4x10 speaker set ups !
I was forever a tweed Bassman guy, the blackface and silverface (mostly the same)
took over when My playing improved I wanted more and more headroom.

I love those deep spank'n lows from both my Bandmaster and the Super Reverb, it makes my playing technique shine through, i'm no master guitar player by any means, but I'm happy with where I am and after all what else matters ?

Oh and my wife says I'm HOT !
