Anybody try the 25uf/25v Suntan brand electrolytic caps in their Fenders? Tube depot's description gives them credibility, but I've never heard of them.
I'm going to be replacing all these (7) in my bandmaster reverb as they have drifted way above the 20% range. I'd like to get feedback on these caps, or should I stick with the spragues?
Thanks,
Abe.

Given what we've recently learned about the design vs observed values of recently-produced Sprague Atoms, you might want to consider using F&T's instead......

Arjay,
I would prefer the F&T's to the spragues, my only concern was that all I can find are the dual cap type electrolytes (one ground with 2 + leads). I'm pretty sure i would just have to tie the grounds together and distribute the + lead to the correct position but do you have a link to a single cap distributor? That would make it so much easier.
Thanks,
Abe.

I dont measure the caps I install which is my fault but I haven't had any issues with the Atoms in the 25/25 or 25/50 usage. The larger values for the DC filters I have though.

I think the most aggregious examples involved Sprague's 16uf electrolytics (for the Deluxe Reverb). Some of them were observed to be overspec by as much as 50% -- a great way to choke the bass response out of the amp.
