No, I had a Galaxie 500 convertible, then a 68 Camaro. It was all downhill after that, starting with my '57 dodge. 8)

My 64 Galaxie 500 convertible that I sold last year because I was afraid I was going to be laid off from work:

Did you cry when you sold it. I would have.

Yes, I did. To make it worse, I didn't lose my job. To make it double worse, I may lose my job in the next few weeks if not sooner. They laid off several people on Friday but I haven't heard a word. I am in an overhead position and I don't know what will happen Monday.

Bill did the car at least go to someone who not only loves it for what it is, but will make sure it gets to the car shows so others get to see it? By the way, love the car hop tray on the window. You are a class act my friend.

Thanks.

I sure hope the new owner enjoys it as much as I did. It wasn't really a show car, but she won a few trophies. Mostly she was just a weekend cruiser for my wife and I to enjoy driving on back country roads on nice evenings.

PS: My apologies to the OP for hi-jacking his thread.

+1. Even better that you drove it. As for not showing it too much, sure looks it could have won more than a few trophies! My apologies as well for the post hijacking, but I just love cars.

To get back on topic somewhat, there was a SR1025 on ebay just the other day...is this the one the OP got?
