I have a 1969, guessing at the age, with a real bad face plate. Where can I get a replacement in either silver or black? It has silver on it now.

Ebay is your best option. I've seen both black and silver faceplates available there. They run around $55 new. The vendor is Marsh Amplification.

yep; had to get a new one for a destroyed SF Princeton Reverb. $45 on ebay, and sold the scratched, barely readable one for $20 on eBay. Go figure.

It was brand new, with the protective plastic film still in place.
