Way to go Man!!! Played quite a few sweaty-outdoor fests. Actually, I really dig those gigs. Nowadays, I use the Band Master(45watt) 2X12. Years ago, used the 4X10 Musicman. Still do acoustic stuff, too. Just playing outdoors, really makes me happy! Art

Thanks Art,it was a good free concert/event for small town folks, they all seemed to have a good time, the band that played before us was pretty good, they were a group of songwriter/musicians,and it was their first gig as a group, but they were seasoned players and pulled it off.
It was nice not to be in a roadhouse for a change also.

I also love playing outdoor gigs: state fairs and such. The smell of fair food...yum.

Well, we played in San Francisco Saturday, and we'll be moving on to the Finals in Cleveland in October! Should be fun! Had a great Twin Reverb from SIR, who provided the backline for everyone for the show.

Wow, that's Great, Nedo!!! Just a question: Do you guys have to pay for all the trans expenses ? Will the band fly or will it be a once in a lifetime road trip ? Art

We played a hot and humid gig last night for a summer nights festival on the courthouse grounds in another county,a change of pace, but fun....I played through my '66 Pro Reverb,my son used the '60 Brown Super...we cranked them, but really should have mic'd the amps, setup was very quick with no sound check, but we pulled it off,and lots of people who don't get to hear live R&R like older folks and kids had alot of fun.

Hey mxvin...nobody wants to see my bony ol' legs...so I have to tough it out!
And the drummer sweats buckets,he's the hardest working guy in the band.

Topp,we don't go out with a setlist but rather play whatever we want at the moment, some of the songs that come up often are from The Allman Brothers,Jimi Hendrix,The Dead,CSN&Y,Pink Floyd...some newer bands like Pearl Jam,Tonic, and others that I don't even know the name of,I just play the songs.

Metallica, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Black Crowes, Gov't Mule, North Mississippi All-Stars,
Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden, Coldplay, GunsNRoses, Slipknot, RedHotChiliPeppers . . .
You know, keepin' up with the times

Toppscore 8)
