Just bought these RCA rectifiers off EBay. FWIW... $32 for pair of black plate NOS 5Y3GT. Dated 39th week, 1953 and 30th week 1950. Both test very strong in amp and sound nice. So good buys are still out there for this tube, at least.

Found a NOS/NIB GE 6087, on the Bay, at a very good price. Also an Amperex Bugle Boy GZ34. And Steve parted with one of his Phillips 5AR4's. So my back-ups are set for the B'Master and Valco. Art

Beautiful bottles, Steve.

I keep a few NOS 5Y3GT's on hand, both for myself and my clients.

My '68 Bronco seems comfortable with an early '60s CBS/Hytron.

+1K, I got quite a few NOS 5Y3GT's but I am down to just one NOS GZ34 so its either the 64 Princeton or 65 Super Reverb that is going to get it depending on which one goes first...I hope it ain't the Mullard in the SR!

Good luck with finding that stash!

I'm down to my last five NOS GZ34's.

Tony, I've had that Mullard GZ34, in the Band Master, for near 17 yrs. I remember Gregg Levy, at Hi Test telling me, " it's a lifer". Had a Mullard in the Matchless Clubman for well over 10 yrs. If you get in a tight situation, E mail me and over night/ priority mail is fine. And we'll just charge the whole deal to Arjay! He's very supportive!!! Art

I know this may sound sacrilegious to those die hard Blackburn, UK Mullard-made GZ34 fans out there--- but, Hitachi and Matsushita made some very nice GZ34 (using Mullard casts and dies), in the 1960-80's. It maybe worth your while to be on the lookout for these tubes.

I'm down to one amp that is GZ34 tube rectified and it has The Mullard that was in it when i bought it.

I keep a sovtek 5AR4 in the closet just in case that Bandmaster Reverb should ever need a replacement.

Meanwhile I'll keep buying up old tube organs and looking for tube caddies at garage sales
