I like to keep things simple when I play... a Strat thru this DR is as simple as it gets, and at 6-7 the tone is to die for! :D

Having this '66 Jensen C12N in there makes this amp even sweeter.

This new Start I put together seems to like this amp, a lot!

A treat for the eyes AND ears, cedarblues!

I may have to try the Fender-branded '66 C12N I just bought in my '68 Deluxe Reverb once I have it re-coned, if for no other reason than to speed the break-in process along.

Vintage Fender and vintage Jensen makes for a special type of sonic magic.

Rawk on!

Nice drip edge DR. Looks clean as a whistle.

+1!

The drip-edge silverface era has always been my favorite......

And the early examples were still "all blackface" inside.

Steve and Cedar,

I am (in a small way) a drip edge owner...68 Blackline Champ that is all stock except for a Kendrick Blackframe speaker! All NOS Tubes to boot and it Sounds fantastic with every guitar I own, Fender or Gibson!

Thanks! Yup sure is, born sometime in Dec '67.

Man it sucks getting old and not remembering crap! Just realized we had this discussion couple months ago... yours, Arjay's, and mine were all within a couple weeks of each others.

Small or big, don't matter... what matters is that you're a member :)
