My new amp is a 1994, and considered to be museum condition & quality.

I don't know what that means but then if it is maybe you should think about selling it to a museum no? Otherwise you're playing with a mummys amp dude.

Bruce Zinky ~ FYI:

http://www.zinky.com/archives.html

There is some wonderful Bruce Zink information at the above link.
It is an interview discussing early childhood influences.

Apply some text formatting, man. This is impossible to read. And don't use this bold font all the time, you're giving me a headache with this.

How about just posting a link to all this stuff? All you are doing is quoting Wikipedia and taking up space. You are not posting any new or original information.

+1

Not only that, the POFS is totally off-topic for this section of the forum......

"Vintage Guitar Amplifiers (anything before 1985)"

What part of the header is vague or incomprehensible?

Thanks for the formatting comment.
It came that way.

I do not use bold or colors all the time.
Only when I feel festive.

Please. On your end, would you use some bold.
I can more easily read bold, much better than plain blah text.
Thanks for helping a FF Brother out once in a while. Toppscore 8)

Man, use a litle common sense about what you post and which forum you post it in. You have posted some good stuff but all your posts where you are just copying and pasting from Wikipaedia and other on-line sources is ridiculous. It's not your original thought. Have you ever read Arjay's signature? Do you really think that he doesn't know who Bruce Zinky is? Do you really think that anybody here doesn't know who he is? Just post a link if you want to talk about things like this.

Maybe you are right. I had not a clue who Bruce Zinky was a month ago.
I found his story very intriguing. I posted his early influences from working
on Vintage Fender & Marshall amps a real plus for this Vintage Forum.
Not everything is going to fit into the way you think. To me it is Vintage history
influencing modern amps. To me this thread really works.

Why do you or anyone think everyone knows about Zinky?
How many posts do I have?
How many have I copied sources? Three?
What percentage is that?
Why do you say, "ALL"?
Why ruin threads with this kind of public discussion?
Why not be the mature forum person you are and PM me to
better understand if there is another perspective than you own?

PM Personal Messages are perfect for this discussion, rather than ruining
a thread. How would you like a discussion like this on other threads?
I would not.

This thread started as an honest inquiry as to why Bruce Zinky is important
because I just purchased an amp that is supposed to emulate
1960s Marshall and the 1960 Fender Twin ~ vintage enought for me.
I have extreme interest in the 1959/1960ish Fender Twins.
To me, this is exciting and vintage.

If a forum member does not like a thread or comment, why not just move-on,
go-away, turn the page, instead of nasty comments.
Do you have to comment of EVERY thread?

Personally, there is tons of stuff I pass up. I do not need to dwiddle around.

One man's ceiling is another man's low.
Turn the other cheek.
Us PM to find out that there are other ways to think, other opinions than your own.
Don'tcha think?

*** By the way. This is the second thread that has been run over by
opinionated bull crud. Some "well known experienced" members
should just move in instead of spoiling others' joy with their
bitter opinionated narrow-minded selfish narcissistic comments?

Your first post and the amp photos were great. People love that. After that all you need do is say "I learned more about Bruce Zinky at 'X'." or "To learn more about Bruce Zinky, go to 'X'." Learn who your audiance is, who the people are that frequent particular forums, and what interests them. Above all, post something original instead of copy and pasting from somewhere else. Otherwise, you will find yourself without an audience real fast.
